Gaining more understanding of the inside-out nature of life, how our thoughts create our feelings and how we experience life, is not just something that I help my clients with. It’s what I do for myself as well. I noticed some discomforting feelings, and as I explored what thoughts were creating those feelings, this came up for me: “Any emotional discomfort we feel is created by us holding on to something that is not our job to hold on to.”
We can let go of those thoughts. Holding on to them and feeling the associated discomforting feelings is like a habit we developed over time. Habits can be broken. Change is always possible.
